Your Week With Isabel

We would like to engage with you. Isabel creator Anna Westbrook regularly curates online learning experiences that can help you maintain healthy survivor-supporter relationships. She crafted the outline for the 2019 online Isabel experience out of a deep desire to have coffee regularly with everyone who has chosen to support Isabel. As that cannot realistically be accomplished, she hopes social media will serve as a unifying force.

As Anna plans the Isabel posts, she imagines herself having coffee with you and hearing about your community. Then she creates short, manageable, positive messages that she would want you to discuss with your friends.

With the goal of keeping your interactions manageable, she tries not to post across the Isabel platforms on Fridays or Saturdays unless there is an Isabel event happening on one of those days. And she tries to take a break during the last week of each month so that she has time to reflect and keep the content you are consuming positive and refreshing. You can sample each social media page in the summaries below. And of course, you are welcome to reach out to Anna directly if you would like to request an actual coffee date.

On Instagram , Anna gives advice for helping supporters of survivors take care of themselves and their communities. It can be so hard to maintain a positive outlook while helping people through tough times. But we are here for you as you try.
